  1. if you were born in china of Chinese parents what religion are you likely to practice? Say you live in a village in the remote part of china where contact to the outside world were limited?

The search for liberation characterise what we all do as humans. We want to be free of hate, poverty, stress, diseases, illness, worry, inferiority complex, unsolved mystery. So, in a quest for an answer to life’s deepest concerns humans have turned to different things; money, sex, power, fame/fortune,technology, zen life, religion, fashion/beauty, work, play, science, education etc, at the end it still leaves a lot of people disillusioned. Permit me to ask then, what is the ultimate quest? (take a moment and think about this question, do not attack the question like a mind that has been programmed, THINK!). Are you in pursuit of it (if their is need for a quest)? What are you currently spending your life doing? Is it that you are looking out for yourself or are you existing selflessly?

These are the musings of a wondering mind. I’d rather ask these intelligent and mind boggling questions than to keep my mouth shut. Have you ever wondered about this lines of thought too?

Let me share with you what I think. I think we are afraid to confront our fears/questions that are agitating our minds. We were all born and thought the way to follow. Most of us stay that way for the rest  of their lives, without probing or asking any questions. As you are reading this piece, what are those questions that you will like to ask about the things you have been thought on your views and belief about life? Ask your self those questions and search for the answers. Only then will you be able to live free and be liberated.

I will like to describe the world as a complex figure that needs to be figured out. have you been able to figure yours out? Let me hear your response to this post. I hope this made an inetresting read for you as I just wrote it bare/unedited.

  2. The new MTN LINK packages are actualy excellent. You cannot
underestimate the power of the social circle. What the people arround me have actually been saying about the MTN packages have actually made me to see it in the bad light.

After speaking to an MTN custmer care agent who pointed a few things to me, I saw the hidden benefits to the new packages from MTN. If only MTN made it easy to be understood, they would have made more sales. It is not only tech people or educated individuals that use the mobile phone.

I will take my time to break down the benefit of the FUNLINK
today, those who it will suit there life style can take
their time and go through it and start enjoying it.

    With a bundle of N1,500 you'll benefit;
    * 50 MTN to MTN minutes (normal minutes would have costed
    N31.80) 50 minutes will translate into N1,590.
    * 200 MTN to MTN sms (normal MTN to MTN sms would have costed you N5), so 200 MTN to MTN will be valued at N1,000.
    * 60Mb weekend data, (normaly with MTN 50Mb costs N500), so 60Mb can be valued at N600.
    * don't forget you still have free weekend calls to a special one person and free
    night calls.

the total estimated value of the N1,500 bundle is N3,190 (remenber the weekend call and night call was not valued or factored in), so you'll be saving N1,690.

I will advice if you spend at least N1,500 credit monthly, migrate to the new MTN FUNLINK.

Direct any question or comment to je_og@yhaoo.com or post them here.
p.s. I will be explaining the others soon, as well as telling you how to activate the unlimited weekend call to that one special person and how to activate the bundle.

p.s.s. to migrate to FUNLINK, text 440 to 131
Also note that the MTN FUNLINK bundle is optional. you can be on the
mtn funlink and not be enjoying the bundle if you did not activate the bundle.

  3. When I started with the wireless devices business, I started
with universal internet modems. I believed in the business
that I would make good sales and I did. At a time in between
I needed some cash and got worried about sales coming in or
not. Guess what happened; sales stalled. I started looking for
people who would buy it at super discounts.

Soon after I sold the ones I had left at super discount rates, orders
started pouring in for the product. I resumed stocking the product
in much quantity again with a great belief that I'll sell them all,
and it happened just so. Even when the channel I created
where the sales came from where blocked, sales kept coming in.

    Lesson:
There is no need to entertain fear when you undertake
any project, be it child rearing, studying a course, getting
a new job, fresh out of school, starting out as an entrepreneur etc.
Whatever it is you are about to do, see it as a success in your minds eye and it will
    surely come to fruition.

"If you can't see it you can't hit it." - Muhammed Ali.

Even when the how is not clear to
you, at least just be crystal clear about what you want.

See you at the end of the tunnel!

  4.

It is true that the telecommunication improvements have made the way we live in Nigeria different. Thanks to the giant strides of the mobile telecommunication operators. However, their efforts still leave much to be desired. For some time now, they have been providing us with internet service. By my observation the service is less than satisfactory.

It is therefore vital to look for a solution to this problem. Some of us, including you reading this article (especially now that you are even reading this online now) rely on internet to get our businesses done.

In my quest for the solution, I have discovered something I will like to share with you here. Although, my research is still in progress. You may choose to go for a network base modem that will give you access to the internet (e.g. starcomms evdo, multilinks rocket evdo, mtn fastlink etc.). What this means is that you are locked to this network. If for any reason they have network failure or itch, like they normally do, you may then have to use that of a friend or go to cyber cafe.

    What I have discovered.

Many Nigerians have decided to carry two phone and more in response to the un-unified tariff and the poor network. There have been occasions when certain network providers will not have network provided in certain areas for a day of two, sometimes even nationwide. So, you use your second line, which most definitely will be printed on your business card.

For the internet case, what do we do? Instead of going for a network based modem, go for the 3.5G universal modem. What is a universal modem? A universal modem is an internet modem you can use with any network in any country as long as you have the sim card of the network and the profile setting of that network which they often provide on their website or from their customer care agents. It works just like a phone that is not locked to a network would work. You are aware that some phones are locked to a network, like they do in Europe and America. MTN use to do it with Motorola phones too.

    How is it a solution?

If you are subscribed to a service and it is not working well, you’ll simply change the sim to that of another network set it up and start using. Normally, they have pay-as-you go surfing or very flexible plans that can be as low as N1,000 per month.

The universal modems are easily available anywhere you are in the country (Nigeria). The price range is between N8,500 to N15,000 depending on who is selling and the model.

While we may not have a final solution yet, we have something better we can use at least to get our businesses up and running. I wish you well

    Regards,

P.S. in case you’ll like to know who sells and where to get one based on where you live get in touch with me on +2348023119038, 8am – 5am Monday to Friday. Or send me an email on je_og@yahoo.com

P.S.S. if you have a network based modem (mtn, glo, etisalat or zain) that you are already using; I can show you how you can maximise it and solve the problem of poor internet service

P.S.S.S. we can also show you how you can browse for as low as N1,000 monthly on using your computer at broadband speed.

  5. THE EASY WAY OUT

    Aug 14, 2010

Are you familiar with the story of the would-be butterfly that was helped out ofhis cocoon? I'll tell it briefly here.
A young man was walking pass one day and saw a cocoon with a small opening. Fo rseveral hours he sat and watched as the butterfly tried to get out. Then it seemed to stop making progress. It seemed to have gotten as far as it could, so the young man decided to help the would-be butterfly. He used his pocket knifeand snipped the remaining bit of the cocoon.
Thebutterfly then emerged easily. (the butterfly was shown the easy way out0, butsomething was strange. The butterfly had a swollen body and a wing thatcouldn't fly. He watched the butterfly and expected it would fly any moment. The truth, the butterfly never flew (I guess the FLY part of the butter-FLY hadbeen taken out so that it remained only BUTTER). The butterfly was never ableto fly.

    MORALE
Whathappened to the butterfly could also happen to us if we are always looking forthe easy way out. The process we should go through when handling a project issimilar to the process a butterfly goes through before it becomes fully formed. The would-be butterfly was supposed to struggle its way out of the cocoon, thisis what would have ensured its success.
Are you working on a project?
Are you starting a new business?
    Are you in a relationship?
    Are you in school?
    Whateverit is that you have decided to do please do not look for the easy way out. Obstaclesalong the way ensure that the best in us comes out. An age old book has this to say;
'consider it all joy my brothers, when you meet with various trials...that you may be complete and sound...'

Stop looking for the easy way out, face those challenges now and you'll come out with flying colours.

What strategy have you used recently that has help you to forge ahead and break your own cocoon? let your voice be heard, drop your comment here?

  6. Am not a superman

    Aug 4, 2010

For the love of God, what is it with me? I thought I was a superman, little did I know that heroes fall too. For the past few weeks it has been really challenging, I think it is the time of test. I have read, I have spoken and motivated people many times over. Now my real life test has presented itself to me.

Making choices can be as tough as swimming the ocean and as simple as breaking a single broom stick. When it comes to making some critical decisions that will alter the course of one’s life, you cannot help but be a little anxious or confused.

That is where I am now, and I am writing about it. In the part two when I must have conquered this feeling that almost drowned me. I will equally write about it. I am going to come out in flying colours in this test of mine so help me God!

  7. I have conquered yet another writer’s block. I thought I couldn’t do this long time ago, until I read how Deolu started blogging (www.deoluakinyemi.com). It gave me inspiration and I decided that I will blog too. I have chosen to write because I love it.

I am going to put some work into it so that my skills can improve. For now just read my mind as I’ll be putting them here. They are real life mussing of things that happen in thought, action and around me. It is the book I write from.
